GULFTEX Operating was formed by its founder, Tim Burroughs. Since the first day, GULFTEX Operating has been aggressively moving to position itself as the premier producer of crude oil and natural gas in the South Central United States. The rejuvenation of crude oil prices, and the alliances now being forged, will all contribute greatly to the realization of our goal. At this moment, GULFTEX Operating is initiating an aggressive acquisition/development program.

Tim Burroughs

Tim has over ten years experience in financing oil and gas drilling and development projects for Dallas/Ft. Worth based energy companies and having studied business administration at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Mr. Burroughs developed and implemented a low risk start-up plan for GULFTEX Operating.

Essential to the plan were the excellent reputations and successful backgrounds of the consultants and operating personnel with which Mr. Burroughs had developed a solid relationship with prior to initiating GULFTEX Operating's business plan.

 

David York

Mr. York joined Gulftex Operating, Inc. in 1996, bringing over 30 years of oil field service experience to the team. Mr. York studied business administration at the University of Texas at Edinburg. Mr. York began his career with ARCO (Atlantic Richfield) in 1974 in Laredo, Texas, and then continued in the oil and gas industry with such companies as Poole International, Geophysical Logging Explorations, Inc., and Hilliard Drilling Company.
